Bespoke BDSM furniture, drawn to your brief.
A bed at a different height. A cross drawn for one wall. A cage sized to an alcove, or a whole room planned as one. We draw it and make it in the same steel and finish as the collection.

One bed, one sloping ceiling
Take a loft bedroom where the roof slopes down on one side. A standard four-poster won't fit, but a frame with two shorter posts and an angled rail might. That's the kind of problem bespoke exists to solve: the collection gets you most of the way, and the room asks for something it can't quite give.
What we can make
Most commissions start from a collection piece and change one thing: a bed at a different height, a cross sized to an alcove, a cage with a different footprint, a headboard cut with an initial. Others start from nothing, such as a piece that combines two forms, or furniture for a whole playroom drawn as a set.
What we don't make
We don't make furniture for suspension, or anything designed to hold a person's weight off the ground. We don't add motors, electrics or heating, and we don't copy another maker's design. If a brief needs any of these, we'll say so at the start.
Materials and finishes
Commissions use the same S235 steel and powder coat as the collection, so a bespoke piece sits comfortably beside one you've already bought. Any colour in the finish library is available, or any RAL colour on request.

We can cut a pattern of your own into a headboard panel. Send it as a sketch or an image and we'll redraw it.
Writing a good brief
The best briefs answer four questions. What is the piece, and how will it be used? Where will it stand? What should it look like, including anything you've seen that's close? When do you need it? Photographs of the room help, and so do rough sketches. Nothing needs to be drawn to scale.

Describe the piece and the room. Please don't include sexual or health details unless they're needed for sizing.
Measuring your room
We'll ask for floor dimensions, ceiling height, and the size of every door, stair and landing on the route in. Mark beams, sloping ceilings, radiators and sockets near where the piece will stand. We confirm every measurement before drawing begins.
How pricing works
Bespoke work is quoted per piece, on size, complexity and finish. Collection prices are a fair guide to where a commission starts: £2,022 for a cross, £3,189 for a cage and £5,624 for a bed. Your quote is fixed when you approve the drawings.

Payment terms are set out in your written quote.
Drawings and approval
Once the brief and measurements are agreed, we send scaled drawings for you to review, and you can ask for changes at this stage. Nothing is made until you've approved the drawings and the quote in writing.
Cancelling a bespoke order
Bespoke pieces made to your specification can't be cancelled once you've approved the drawings and we've started work. This doesn't affect your other legal rights. See our returns and cancellation policy.
Designers and architects
If you're working with an interior designer or architect, send their drawings with your brief and we'll work from them, or we can speak to them directly.
Confidentiality
We only use what you send to answer your enquiry. See our privacy policy for how long we keep it. Your card statement will show SanDom.
