What makes BDSM furniture luxury

Price alone doesn't decide it. Luxury BDSM furniture is judged by its material, its construction and its proportion, and those are what we design around.

Material first: every piece we make is S235 steel. Construction second: each piece is cut, welded and powder coated after you order it. Proportion is the part you see. A bed or a cross has to suit a room long before anyone thinks about using it, so we draw every piece to look at home in a bedroom as much as a playroom.

BDSM beds and four-poster bondage frames

A BDSM bed is a bed first. It holds a mattress, it sits at the centre of a bedroom, and it should look as though it belongs there. What sets it apart is the structure around the mattress: four posts and canopy rails that frame it on every side.

Our nine bed frames share one construction and split into two families. Axis is the pure four-poster silhouette. Eden, Paragon, Arcadia, Cellar, Emblem, Solstice, Pavilion and Regent each carry a pattern cut into the 3 mm headboard panel. All are made to order from £5,624. Browse the BDSM beds, or read the bed buyer's guide before you choose.

The St Andrew's cross, and five points

For many people the St Andrew's cross is the image that comes to mind first: an X-shaped frame with a ring at the end of each arm. It takes little floor and changes a room entirely, which makes it a natural second piece after a bed.

We make three. Atlas is our St Andrew's cross at £2,022. X Cross is its second form at £2,172, and Pentastar adds a fifth point for £3,590. See the crosses.

BDSM cages

A cage defines space more than it fills it. Upright and low forms suit different rooms and different scenes, and in every case the cage should be agreed in advance, supervised throughout and easy to open. Ours are made in S235 steel and powder coated, so they read as sculpture when they aren't in use. Four forms, from £3,189. See the cages.

Steel, timber or upholstery

Most BDSM furniture is built from one of three things. Timber is warm and traditional. Upholstered pieces are soft to the touch. We chose steel: it's easy to wipe down, and under powder coat it takes the colour you choose.

We chose steel for everything we make. Our materials and finishes page explains why, and the colours we offer.

Made to order, and bespoke

Nothing we make waits in a warehouse. Each piece is built after you order it, in the colour you choose, which is why lead times are counted in weeks. Made to order. Current lead time 8–14 weeks.

If a collection piece doesn't fit your room, we can draw one that does. Commissions start with a brief and a set of measurements, and you see drawings and a fixed quote before anything is cut. Start a bespoke brief.

Furniture for a shared home

Not every home has space for a dedicated dungeon. Plenty of pieces end up in a bedroom, a spare room or a cellar that has to work for more than one purpose. That shapes how we design: clean lines, quiet colours on request, and nothing that needs explaining when the door is open.

If you're planning a whole room, our guide to turning a spare room into a playroom walks through layout, light and storage, and the Look Book shows how other people have done it.
