How discreet is delivery?

Discreet packaging, a neutral name on your statement, and a few choices of your own.

Privacy matters when you buy restraint furniture. You might share a home, have neighbours who take in parcels, or prefer that a purchase this personal stays between the two of you. So it's reasonable to ask, before you order, how discreet delivery is.

The packaging

Every piece is packed discreetly. It ships flat-packed, as a set of parts with printed assembly instructions, so it arrives as a parcel of flat boxes. A flat-packed bed, cross or cage looks like a delivery of furniture parts, because that's what it is.

Your card statement

Your card statement shows SanDom, for any purchase from us.

Your enquiries

When you email us, we only use what you send to answer your enquiry; our privacy policy has the details. If you're sending measurements or photographs of a room, you don't need to include anything personal beyond what we need to help, and for bespoke work we ask you not to include sexual or health details unless they're needed for sizing.

Where we deliver

We deliver to the UK, US and EU. Our delivery page has the details for each region.

Delivering somewhere other than home

If home isn't the right place for a delivery, ask us before you order about delivering to another address. Remember that a flat-packed piece is a set of large, heavy boxes, so plan how you'll move them to where the piece will live.

What you can do

A few choices on your side make delivery as private as you'd like.

  • Choose a delivery address where you'll be there to receive it, or where a parcel won't be opened by someone else.
  • If you share a home, decide in advance who will take the delivery in and where the boxes will go until assembly.
  • Unpack in the room where the piece will live, so the parts aren't spread through the house.
  • Flatten and recycle the packaging promptly once assembly is done.
  • Keep the printed instructions somewhere private but easy to find; you'll want them if the piece ever moves.

Before you assemble

Check the packaging and the parts when they arrive. If the boxes then have to wait before assembly, keep them in the room where the piece will go, or in a space only you use, and assemble the piece in one session if you can, so parts aren't left out.

If something is wrong

Contact us with your order number and a photograph, and our returns and cancellation page sets out what happens next.

If you live with others

In a shared home, a little planning keeps things private. Choose a delivery day when you'll be in. Decide where the boxes will wait and when the piece will be assembled. If housemates or family will see the room, think about the finish and the position of the piece before you order, and about where restraints and accessories will be kept.

Once it's in the room

Discretion continues after delivery. A restraint bed is the easiest piece to keep discreet, because a four-poster reads as a bed; our guide to using a restraint bed as your everyday bed covers finishes, bedding and storage that keep it that way. A cross or a cage is easier to recognise, so placement and colour matter more; see our guides to where a cross should go and where a cage should sit.

Restraints and accessories are easiest to keep private in closed storage close to the piece: a lidded box, a drawer or a cupboard that locks if you share your home.

Questions about discretion

Will the delivery driver know what's inside?

The piece arrives as flat-packed parts in discreet packaging.

Can I ask questions without giving my name?

Yes. Email info@sanctumdomina.com with general questions; we only need your details when you place an order.

What if a parcel arrives damaged?

Photograph the packaging, then contact us with your order number. If you're in the UK, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply to every piece.

Every piece in our BDSM beds, St Andrew's crosses and BDSM cages collections is made to order, with a current lead time of 8–14 weeks, and delivered in discreet packaging.
